Exposure points use HSE's hand-arm vibration method. The ELV must not be used as a target — reduce exposure to as low as reasonably practicable (CVWR 2005 reg 6(2)).

Method: BS EN ISO 5349-1/-2. Action/limit values: Control of Vibration at Work Regulations 2005. Points: HSE.

Recommended controls

Below EAV — no action programme required, keep practices proportionate.

Recommendations are matched from the CVWR 2005 / HSE L140 library; confirm applicability on site.
